(Note: this will only work with Exchange email accounts)
Those of you who use email extensively know how intrusive it can get when on vacation. If you often find yourself worrying about unanswered emails while you are on vacation, you can always setup automatic replies. To do so, follow the steps below:

Step 1: In the top left of your Outlook, click File->Info

Step 2: Click automatic replies (out of office)

Step 3:In the Automatic Replies dialog box, select the Send Automatic Replies check box

Step 4(optional):If you want to specify a set time and date range, select the “Only send during this time range” check box. Then set the Start time, and then set the End time, then click “ok”.

Lastly, if you setup a time range, automatic responses will stop at the end time. However, if you did not, you have to uncheck the “Send Automatic Replies” box.

Vacation is a sacred time. It allows you time to recover and relax from the stresses of life and work. The last thing you want is to worry about your email. By using this useful tip, you can enjoy your vacation with sound peace of mind.
